1. Preliminary Evaluation: After submission, manuscripts undergo a formal review and thematic relevance assessment by the Editor-in-Chief and an interdisciplinary editorial board (comprising experts from various fields). Manuscripts that align with the journal’s positioning, meet formatting standards, and demonstrate interdisciplinary research value are selected for further review.
2. Anonymous Review Assignment: Manuscripts passing the preliminary evaluation are assigned to 2–3 anonymous experts (reviewers) with interdisciplinary research experience, based on the core disciplinary fields involved in the research. This ensures reviewers can evaluate the scientific validity and integration value of the research from multiple perspectives.
3. In-depth Review Feedback: Reviewers provide detailed comments on the rationality of research design, suitability of interdisciplinary methods, validity of data/arguments, innovation of conclusions, and practical significance, and explicitly recommend "Accept," "Major Revision," "Minor Revision," or "Reject."
4. Author Revision and Secondary Review: The journal conveys the anonymous review comments to authors in full and guides them to make targeted revisions. After revisions are completed, reviewers conduct a secondary review to confirm whether the issues have been resolved.
5. Final Decision and Publication: The editorial board makes a final decision based on the secondary review comments. Accepted manuscripts enter the typesetting and proofreading stage and are quickly scheduled for publication in accordance with the monthly publishing plan, shortening the cycle from acceptance to public release of research findings.

Publication Frequency

IJMR adopts a monthly publishing model, releasing one volume (including interdisciplinary research papers, cross-field reviews, case studies, etc.) each month, with a total of 12 volumes published annually. All published articles are assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and registered through CrossRef, the international DOI registration agency. As a permanent "digital ID" for articles, the DOI ensures readers worldwide can quickly locate and access articles via the official website, while guaranteeing the accuracy of interdisciplinary citations and the traceability of academic achievements. The monthly publishing model further enhances the timeliness of research dissemination, enabling cutting-edge interdisciplinary discoveries to be applied in practice more quickly.
